In many pre-sales enquiries , we were being asked for semi-dedicated plans because of the expectation of consistency of the team members who knows the support policies inside out. It was a tough situation where we were not able to understand how our competitors offered semi-dedicated because our assumption was to share a 4 member team across two other clients for 1/10th of the price of a dedicated client and yet give good support.
We then understood that semi-dedicated was not to be taken literally, instead it was more of a quasi-dedicated support with the features of a dedicated team, yet not truly dedicated or semi-dedicated. So we introduced our quasi-dedicated plans in the industry.
